A fabric that is woven from innately noncombustible fibers and without the addition of chemicals is categorized as IFR.
Durable Opaque FR Vinyl
UltraShade vinyl is specifically designed as a decorative opaque dimensionally stable window drapery and room dividing material. Developed and milled exclusively for S&K Theatrical Draperies, Inc. Highly suitable for outdoor and industrial applications like moveable warehouse dividers or stationary visual barriers. Utra-Shade vinyl is permanently flame retardant and it provides noise and thermal insulation, attributes that make it the material choice for resilient room darkening curtains for school classrooms. Ultra-Shade is tough, durable, easy to clean and economical. It is durable because it is resistant to abrasion, water, most oils, chemicals, grease, rot and mildew. It is economical because of its long, useful life and maintenance-free care. To clean, just wipe with a damp cloth!
IFR Ultra-Shade vinyl meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California State Fire Marshall for products identified in Section 13115, California Health and Safety Code.
