A fabric that is woven from innately noncombustible fibers and without the addition of chemicals is categorized as IFR.

super HEAVY-WEIGHT matte finish velour

The heaviest weight matte finish synthetic velour in the industry. Royale features the densest plushiest pile in the synthetic velour product line and is recommended for high end venues, to replicate curtains at historical sites or for any other application requiring an opaque, ostentatious ultra heavy-weight velour. If you are searching for a top-of-the-line velour fabric, with great color depth and proven light and sound absorption properties, Royale Velour will not only meet that criteria, but will also add a lavish touch to your space. Wrinkle resistant, tear resistant and moisture resistant.

This fabric is also lab tested and rated for its acoustical properties:

Noise Reduction Coefficient NRC: 0.95 *
Sound Absorption Average SAA: 0.95 *
*100% fullness, nap down.

Royale Velour meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by these tests:

  • NFPA 701 – Small Scale

  • NFPA 701 – Test Method#1

  • California Title 19

  • Canadian ULC S-109
