A fabric that is woven from innately noncombustible fibers and without the addition of chemicals is categorized as IFR.

Elegant plush synthetic Velour

This heavy-weight synthetic Velour features a dense and longer pile that offers increased light and sound absorbency. With a rich matte finish and superior depth of color, Charisma Velour IFR combines the looks of cotton velour with the Inherent Fire Retardant attributes of a Trevira® CS polyester fabric. Wrinkle-resistant, tear-resistant, and 100% opaque, this versatile and durable velour is a great match for theater curtains, stage drapery, acoustical treatment, and sound-absorbing room-dividing curtains for venues and spaces of all sizes. 

This fabric is also lab-tested and rated for its acoustical properties:

Noise Reduction Coefficient NRC: 0.90 *
Sound Absorption Average SAA: 0.90 *
*Pleated with 100% fullness, nap down.
