HEAVY-WEIGHT, EXTRA WIDE FR MUSLIN natural
Flame retardant heavy-weight natural Muslin fabric, also known as cotton sheeting is a plain, tightly woven fabric ideal for theater cycloramas, stage drops, theater surrounding, TV studios and live production events. Since it is available in wide widths, it can be sewn into seamless backdrops, rendering a clean look without the distortions caused by vertical or horizontal seams.
Although it can be painted, natural color flame retardant Muslin is recommended for unpainted backdrops. Painted treatments will require special techniques to prevent the FR chemical salts from recrystallizing and leaching to the fabric surface. Extra-wide flame retardant muslin is preshrunk, simplifying sizing.
Cut yardage fabric may be folded to ship via UPS. Full bales ship via LTL freight.
Extra-wide FR natural muslin meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California State Fire Marshall for products identified in Section 13115, California Health and Safety Code.
