These fabrics are commonly woven from natural and/or synthetic yarns and then topically treated with a flame retardant chemical so that the material meets fire safety codes.
Our traditional Commando now 100% opaque
Extra-wide Commando Cloth FR now coated with a black latex backing that provides 100% opacity. Because of its wide width, it requires less seams when sewn into a curtain making it an affordable solution for large masking curtains, blackout room dividing curtains, studio blackout curtains and black box theater drapery among other uses. This moderately priced fabric is woven from matte yarns, featuring a non reflective napped light absorbing surface.
Cut yardage fabric may be folded to ship via UPS. Full rolls ship via LTL freight. Purchase multiple rolls to reduce freight charges.
Coated Commando meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California State Fire Marshall for products identified in Section 13115, California Health and Safety Code.
