INHERENTLY FLAME RETARDANT
A fabric that is woven from innately noncombustible fibers and without the addition of chemicals is categorized as IFR.
Extra-Wide IFR Sound Muffling Fabric

Sound Shock®️ IFR is a dense sound-absorbing reversible fabric made from 100% polyester fibers.
This fabric has a double-sided finish with no nap direction and it offers superior light and sound absorption. Because of its wide width, it is often an economical alternative to Black Velour IFR fabric.
This material is extremely durable and wrinkle-resistant.
Cut yardage fabric may be folded to ship via UPS. Full rolls ship via LTL freight. Purchase multiple rolls to reduce freight charges.
This fabric is also lab-tested and rated for its acoustical properties:

IFR Sound Shock®️ meets the minimum requirements of flame resistance established by the California State Fire Marshall for products identified in Section 13115, California Health and Safety Code.
