S&K Theatrical Draperies, Inc. had the privilege to custom manufacture and install this massive 40’ high x 135’ wide set of curtains for the Michoud Assembly Facilities located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Working closely with Broadmoor LLC construction company we designed, manufactured and install the industrial blackout room dividing curtains that are now being used to divide a clean assembly area. 

All curtains were made from our heavy weight industrial Tri-Ply Vinyl with Inherently Flame Retardant properties. Curtains were manufactured with a flat finish, and all seams and hems were sewn and secured with heavy duty industrial quality sewing supplies. For the center traveler curtains we supplied and installed heavy duty 280 Silent Steel curtain tracks, powered by two 2928 In-Line curtain motors. The stationary curtains were supported from theater quality 1 ¼”ID black schedule 40 pipe battens. 

At time of installation our crew of experienced installers custom cut the masking valance curtains and side panels to go around building structural support and electric conduit. Curtains, track, motor and labor were covered by our standard 1 year manufacturer warranty.
